Making anti-Palestinian repression visible.
We monitor, document and analyse repression against Palestine advocates across Europe: from policies, legislation and case law to police violence.
What we do
Identify and analyse repression
We identify patterns of repression to guide our legal strategy, support our clients and build collective power.
Provide evidence for advocacy
Our analysis and evidence back advocacy that challenges narratives and actions undermining democratic freedoms in Europe.
Hold power to account
We give advocates the information they need to hold governments, institutions and individuals accountable.
Document for the future
We document and archive, so future generations understand how repression worked, and how it was resisted.
Our monitor
Repression is systematic, not incidental
Since October 2023, the campaign to stigmatise and repress solidarity with Palestine has intensified. It is driven not only by the Israeli government but by European governments, parliaments and institutions, even as public opinion has turned against Israel.
With our partners, we have identified the most common tactics:
- Arrests and demonstration bans
- Censorship and surveillance
- Harassment and doxing
- Suspension and disciplinary action at work or university
- Financial repercussions and banking restrictions
- Threats to immigration or citizenship status
Index of Anti-Palestinian Repression
Multi-sited, institutionalised, systematic
For too long, anti-Palestinian repression has been dismissed as incidental, exceptional or justified. The Index confirms what the movement has long known.
